Update: 06/11/17: The National Endowment of the Arts reported that they did not fund this particular play. They caught a break. They fund many other leftist performances.
The taxpayer-funded National Endowment of the Arts sponsored a Central Park, NY, portrayal of ‘Julius Caesar’ being stabbed to death in the Senate. Caesar looks exactly like Trump because he is meant to be Trump. He’s in a business suit, Caesar’s wife has a slavic accent, and all the killers are minorities and women.
They were playing to the violence-loving, New York leftists who euphemistically call themselves liberals.
Other sponsors include Bank of America, Delta Air Lines, the NY Times, United Airlines, and American Express.
The sponsors call it art. One must wonder if the screenplay was written by Kathy Griffin.
The propagandists of The National Endowment of the Arts always put on productions with a leftist slant. Slaughtering the President is new and they slyly they call it art and a metaphor.
If someone put on a performance of Barack Obama or even Bush as Caesar being stabbed, what would the reaction be?

Playbill states that The Public Theater — the troupe responsible for the production — is definitely Trump-inspired.The Public Theater’s site claims that their new spin on “Julius Caesar” has “never felt more contemporary.”
During the production, “Caesar” is stabbed to death on the Senate floor as the American flag looms. The “full murder” was very violent and in graphic detail. Blood was spewing everywhere.
Kathy Griffin has, at least temporarily, been destroyed for beheading Trump, so why is this okay? The NY Daily News called Griffin’s photo-shoot “gruesome” but they called this production “risqué”.
The New York Times described it in Playbill: Last seen on the Delacorte stage 17 years ago, Shakespeare’s political masterpiece Julius Caesar tells the tale of a power-hungry leader and the band of patriots who oppose him.
Its depiction of a petulant, blondish Caesar in a blue suit, complete with gold bathtub and a pouty Slavic wife, takes onstage Trump-trolling to a startling new level.
However, in 2013, when a rodeo clown came out with an Obama mask, he was vilified and banned from the rodeo for life.
The press and the public were irate when rodeo clown – Tuffy Gessling – mocked President Obama at a rodeo. The clown put on an Obama mask and attached a broom to his butt and as he came out, an announcer told the audience he was going to get run over by a bull.
Mark Ficken had to resign from his post as president of the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association as a result. Every clown had to go through sensitivity training.
The Missouri chapter of the NAACP called for the DOJ and the Secret Service to investigate.
