The media is making a big deal about this story but only about 4,000 have crossed the U.S. border into Canada. They are mostly Haitians who are concerned that President Trump is going to withdraw their special status.
Economic migrants, illegal aliens, refugees are flooding to a remote location on the U.S.-Canada border and crossing over into Canada. Many are Haitians who have received temporary residency under the prior administration. Trump has signaled that he will end it, thus they are fleeing the U.S., perhaps temporarily.
Canada has sent about 100 soldiers to a remote spot on the Quebec-New York border called Rocks and Roads where asylum seekers are crossing.
The Canadian military said in a statement Wednesday that the soldiers will help the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Canada Border Services Agency at the site.
They are preparing a place for tents that can hold almost 500 people. They will also install lighting and heating equipment.
It’s not a guarantee of asylum however. They will all ask for asylum, the new buzzword.

But here are the facts:
The Canada-USA Safe Country Agreement. ( taken from WIkipedia )

Those people were refused in the USA, now they try Canada, that is not permitted under the agreement.
Canada must send them back to the USA, that is what the agreement says.
Most people think Trump is sending them to Canada but that is completely false. Trump sends them back to their country but they chose instead to try to enter Canada illegally.
Those people not only cross the border illegally and enter Canada illegally, they also cheat to avoid the effects of the agreement by not going to the official border check points.
The second they set foot here they have already done 3 illegal things.
Canada, by taking in those people, disrespects the agreement with the USA.
It is not Trump who is doing anything wrong or illegal it is Trudeau the prime minister of Canada.
I have posted shorter versions of this on facebook but most people ignore it as if I was a crazy person who is saying crazy things.
Yet the agreement is real, they can google it.
It was Obama who on September 22 2016 told the Haitians – who the USA had ” sheltered” since 2010 when they fled because of the Haiti earthquake – that they now had to go back since the situation had improved in Haiti.
Trump a few months ago, gave the Haitians an extension and they can stay in the USA until January 2018.
Liberals reading this ; yes Trump has a heart and is capable of altruism…what a shock huh?
So when the media ( especially the Canadian media) or liberals say this whole situation is because of Trump they are lying or are very under-informed.
Even if by some magic Obama had been elected for a third term, the Haitians would still have to leave the USA!!, it has NOTHING to do with Trump or with Trump being a racist or a stupid man or whatever they say of him.
The Haitians had to go no matter who was President. They were in the USA temporarily because of the earthquake.
Not only is it 100% wrong to blame Trump for this but he is nice enough to let the Haitians stay until January 2018 ( he did not have to do that, yet he chose to do it) , so instead of being hated President Trump should be admired and celebrated for his benevolence.
Here in quebec a lot of people are convinced Trump is sending those Haitians here or ” dumping them on us” and the Mayor of Montreal – a liberal of course – also says Trump is to blame.
But the truth is the USA under Obama or Trump is sending the Haitians back to Haiti, not to Canada!!
…the fact some Haitians chose to cheat the system and chose enter Canada illegally instead of going home to Haiti is not the decision of neither Obama nor Trump. ( I do not like Obama but I am also fair and honest )
You know what is funny? a Haitian media called Haiti SENTINEL I found in a search is more honest about this than the Canadian media is !
