Donald Trump sat for a hostile interview at the Chicago Economic Club, an interview Kamala Harris declined to attend. Kamala is clueless and could never answer the questions.

Damn … I am trying to help this board. What does it take to get some debate? Hey, I am independently wealthy and can waste time just playing online!
So … You have Trump who is much better on the Economy; but He only has half the Picture! He will not do anything about “Corporate Monopolies” causing the Inflation. Monopolies ( crony capitalism) is the sickness rotting the economy of America. I do not think Trumps Sponsors will let him do much, Truthfully. If you do not stop the Monopolies you cannot even Dent the Inflation.
Sadly, for you, America, TRUMP, just means a lesser Evil. Now, why is it that none of you can function for GOOD? Do you all want the Solution to the Gordian Knot? Your Government will OBEY you, anything you demand, no matter who is in office, if you learn to use your numbers and put 1-million protesters on the NYSE. They cannot profit without your Peace; So, Stop giving it to them for FREE. Make them Pay for Peace. You
ll get anything you demand; because if they do not have peace on the NYSE, then the international community will downgrade us credit on political instability and that is game over for the US government with its 200-trillion in total debts and obligations! Translation: They
ll give you anything you demand no matter who is in office. So … Learn how to Organize your numbers; because nobody is going to give you anything, you have to FIGHT for YOUR RIGHTS!
He had me laughing so much, it is worth watching the whole thing!
To understand what Trump is pointing at, one needs to know how radical leftist thinking has invaded our educational system. One of the chief goals was to destroy the ability to think critically. Common sense had to be ridiculed and removed. That was very clear in the field of economics.
The economics that was already taught in the mid 1960’s at the University of Michigan was effectively “insane”. They told us that the more debt a nation acquired the stronger it became because debt meant the country was growing.
That is nonsense. A company that produces a product, may take on debt to expand, but when a country takes on debt, it has to service the debt without a product to sell at a profit. As we can see now, almost all personal income tax revenues are needed simply to service the national debt. That means that needs like social services, military, etc. can only be provided by increasing the debt until there is a complete economic collapse. Those of us who tried to use critical thinking and common sense, were simply given bad grades. It was “cooperate to graduate.”
The problem is that the illogical thinking now infects most of the country. The interviewer says in effect we should give unfair economic advantage to our allies, or even to our enemies for “peace”.
Remember Neville Chamberlain came back from meeting with Hitler in 1938 and said, “My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honour. I believe it is peace for our time… Go home and get a nice quiet sleep.” In September 1940, Hitler, sensing gullibility and weakness began the blitz of London.
If we have to buy our friends or pacify our enemies by having our economy destroyed, in the end we have nothing.
Trump understands. We must protect American jobs and our ability to produce what we need when other nations act in an unfriendly manner.
One other caveat, workers and management need to get rid of the adversarial approach. We have to be a united people. A nation of selfish people is doomed.
Excellent comment. Insightful.
