BLM champion, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, appointed a committee in July to review assets in D.C. – statues, memorials et al — that are inconsistent with DC [communist] values and that allegedly encourage oppression against blacks. The claim is the history contributed to the U.S. as a nation of historical systemic racism.
There is no such thing as systemic racism in the USA. Define it? What systemic laws are racist?
On Tuesday, the committee — the District of Columbia Facilities and Commemorative Expressions or “DC FACES” — delivered a report that found 153 of 3050 statues and monuments are “persons of concern.”
“Our decision-making prism focused on key disqualifying histories, including participation in slavery, systemic racism, mistreatment of, or actions that suppressed equality for, persons of color, women and LGBTQ communities and violation of the DC Human Right Act,” they wrote in their report.
She believes in punishing people for non-crimes they committed in the 1700s as well as destroying our entire belief system.
The report included assets such as the Columbus Fountain, the Benjamin Franklin Statue, the Andrew Jackson Statue, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, among other renowned monuments. When they get rid of those, they will add more. Leftists never stop.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said in a statement: “The radically liberal mayor of Washington, D.C., is repeating the same left-wing narrative used to incite dangerous riots: demolishing our history and destroying our great heritage,” referring to the request as “ludicrous.” The Democratic Washington Mayor spoke about her committee’s proposal on Tuesday.
Murders are up but that’s not the concern. The concern is destroying American History so Bowser and her BLM loon friends can replace it with communism.

They are opposed to Andrew Jackson, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Christopher Columbus, Ben Franklin, and other heroes. In other words, all of our history must be erased from the capital.
This isn’t just a cancel culture prerogative, it’s a remaking of history much as they have done in communist nations pre-revolution. It’s no different than what ISIS does.

Mayor Bowser & her working group recommend DC “remove, relocate, or contextualize” the Washington Monument & Jefferson Memorial in order to better reflect DC’s “values.”
Meanwhile, murders are up 15% and shootings are up 45% YOY.
