Al-Arabiya reports that Iran will punish Americans wherever they can reach them since we killed their terrorist General Qassem Soleimani. That is according to Tasnim news agency quoting a senior Revolutionary Guard commander.
General Gholamali Abuhamzeh, the commander of the Guards in the southern province of Kerman, raised the prospect of possible attacks on ships in the Gulf.
“The Strait of Hormuz is a vital point for the West and a large number of American destroyers and warships cross there … vital American targets in the region have been identified by Iran since long time ago … some 35 U.S. targets in the region as well as Tel Aviv are within our reach,” he said.
We can reach them too.

The one thing they should keep in mind is we will retaliate with the worst conflagration they have ever seen.
Cutting off the head of the snake can be a tremendous advantage with extremists.

WE HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT SLEEPER CELLS
They claim to have sleeper cells throughout the United States and that is believable for a lot of reasons. The main one comes from one of our sources, Derek Maltz, a retired director of the special operations division (SOD) of the DEA.
Barack Obama probably wanted the nuke deal so badly that he allowed the Hezbollah crime syndicates to grow unimpeded throughout the United States and the world. The investigations into these people were shut down.
Mr. Maltz says illegal Hezbollah operations in the U.S. are funding our own eventual destruction. They run crime syndicates here and send the money there.
The Iranian terror organization is heavily engaged in drug crimes, trafficking, and other crimes, to fund their worldwide terrorist activities. The last administration did not bring the criminals to justice and the former head of Project Cassandra is sounding the alarm now but will anyone listen?
OBAMA LET THE OPPORTUNITY TO DISMANTLE IT SLIDE
Mr. Maltz said the Obama administration had the opportunity to dismantle Hezbollah with evidence collected under Project Cassandra. They clearly chose not to do so. At the same time, the Iran nuclear deal was being negotiated and, while it has been put forward as the reason for not following through, Mr. Derek Maltz, who headed this project, wants to only look forward.
In the end, the Obama administration didn’t or wouldn’t do it and Hezbollah continues their illegal cartel operations throughout the world and in the United States because, in part, the various agencies do not work together.
Mr. Maltz urged the House to resolve this, to up the sanctions, and implement robust law enforcement prosecutions.
Derek Maltz, who was in charge of the major law enforcement operation targeting Hezbollah’s trafficking of cocaine, said the United States cannot again succumb to political distractions that allow the Iranian-backed terrorist group to continue its lucrative narcoterrorism campaign.
“There’s an old saying, opportunities come and go,” Maltz testified before the House Foreign Affairs Committee. “In my personal opinion, having been the guy in charge of the special operations for ten years, we lost a gold opportunity to crush Hezbollah.”
POLITICO EVEN REPORTED IT
Politico in December first reported the Obama administration’s quiet dismantling of these efforts, dubbed Project Cassandra, out of apprehension over rattling Iran. He based his conclusions on his interviews with key players.
The article written by Josh Meyer tied the motivation of the Obama administration to pursue a nuclear deal to the abandonment of the Hezbollah drug trafficking network.
Mr. Maltz was quoted in the article as saying, “There is certainly an argument to be made that if tomorrow all the agencies were ordered to come together and sit in a room and put all the evidence on the table against all these bad guys, that there could be a hell of a lot of indictments,” Maltz told Politico.
Hezbollah continues to make extraordinary sums of money with their illegal operations as a transnational criminal organization, Mr. Maltz said again on Wednesday and repeated his sentiments about one reason for it — we do not share information among agencies.
“Sadly, 16 years after 9/11, we’re still talking about information sharing. It’s a disaster,” he testified. “If terrorists are turning to criminal networks for their funding, how can we have a system where the terrorist investigators and the intelligence community and others are not communicating properly with the law enforcement agencies?”
He said the Trump administration needs to name those agents who in the U.S. government will be responsible for bringing together federal, state, and local agencies under an interagency task force to combat narcoterrorism.

Project Cassandra strikes me very ironic for one legendary reason: In Greek mythology, Apollo wanted so very badly to marry Cassandra of Troy but she refused. So Apollo, being the petty sun god that he was, put a curse on Cassandra. She would be able to predict future events very accurately, but nobody would believe her. The patron god (Apollo) of Troy was no where to be found when Aggamennom came to sack Troy, Cassandra accurately predicted that Troy would fall, and nobody (not even Hector) believed her.
The Cassandra Project of Mr. Maltz sounds very credible to me, I do pray for our nation’s sake that it doesn’t meet the same fate as its namesake.
Hum. So should we shoot every Iranian when we see them?
Would be a good start
I heard Bill Gertz today in which he describes rather than decapitating a high-level leader, it would be better served with using propaganda. This may work with a country such as Russia where things such as living standards are motivating, or even freedom itself. But in the case with Middle Eastern countries the primary motivation is “religion”. When that religious person believes they are following their God in all they do there is no propaganda that will deter their actions. In fact it will have the opposite effect.
A person has to realize and understand “what” their motivations are before any propaganda can be effective. With Russia we could show the freedoms the outside world has in comparison to the Soviet lifestyle. In the Islamic world this has the complete opposite effect. It IS the Western society itself that is ‘on trial’. President Bush incorrectly believed that all people desire Freedom and terrorists aim was to destroy freedom. That is simplistic in origin. They do Not consider it Freedom to pipe in all the ways of decadent Hollywood into their countries. We are now barely scratching the surface in realizing how destructive Hollywood is having on society, culture and every norm there is, with promoting every perversion known to man. It used to be confined to adults but within a decade it has been specifically directed at the youngest children, in schools, libraries and every place children congregate. How will Gertz’s propaganda describe how THIS is best for these countries. Promoting Freedom with responsibility is one thing, but we are now promoting Freedom for whatever your evil desires can imagine, with no inhibitions, no matter the cost to society or its longevity.
