The following data comes out of Princeton University and a joint project of the ACLED and the Bridging Divides Initiative (BDI). The Sentinel believes it is very biased left, but they have a point about instability and crisis.
The United States is at heightened risk of political violence and instability going into the 2020 general election. Mass shootings hit a record high last year (BBC, 29 December 2019), violent hate crimes are on the rise (Al Jazeera, 13 November 2019), and police killings continue unabated, at 2.5 times the rate1 for Black men as for white men (FiveThirtyEight, 1 June 2020; Nature, 19 June 2020). The COVID-19 pandemic has killed well over 180,000 (New York Times, 3 September 2020) and disrupted the economy, while George Floyd’s death in police custody has sparked a massive wave of protest across the country.
These data reveal that the United States is in crisis. It faces a multitude of concurrent, overlapping risks —from police abuse [or is it perceived police abuse, don’t assume anything] and racial injustice, to pandemic-related unrest and beyond — all exacerbated by increasing polarization. This report maps these trends with a view toward the upcoming election, when these intersecting risks are likely to intensify.
Some of these factors are perceived — not real — by the hard left, and it is a minority number of people on the fringe-left creating the potentially unstable USA, but unstable it will be if Democrats and their BLM and Antifa continue unabated. Remember who is actually promoting violence when you vote.
This report unabashedly supports the ‘mostly peaceful protests’ which are actually violent and dangerous. At least, nearly 600 of them were violent.
Are these people serious?

The report claims 9 in 10 BLM protests are peaceful. The Sentinel doesn’t see it the way they do. Every protest ends in actions from screaming and abuse to criminal activity.
The report also condemned the federal law enforcement officers who did nothing wrong. The report called it a militarized action. This is as lunatics were threatening people, trying to burn down federal buildings, vandalizing stores, looting, and so on.
The report claims the government took a “heavy-handed approach” in Seattle and Portland. Most would say it wasn’t heavy-handed enough.
The report falsely focuses on the almost-non-existent KKK as the perpetrators and minimizes the very real violence from the left. For example, they write, “Groups like the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) have documented organized disinformation campaigns aimed at spreading a “deliberate mischaracterization of groups or movements [involved in the protests], such as portraying activists who support Black Lives Matter as violent extremists or claiming that antifa is a terrorist organization coordinated or manipulated by nebulous external forces” (ADL, 2020).
Seriously?
Nowhere do they admit BLM and Antifa are violent communist movements.
