Barack Obama has been slow-walking his exit with final addresses every day. Tuesday was his final presser with the White House press corps and it was an opportunity for the press to show just how much they can grovel.
The video below is a nice compilation of the adulation. We will soon see a press that hates the president, but for now we get to see bowing and scraping.
At one point, a reporter says Obama expanded the rubber band of inclusion but people are afraid the rubber band might be broken. What is she talking about ? We all hate each other because of him.
Someone should tell the press that they are supposed to report – objectively – and not act as cheerleaders or the hate squad.
