Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia introduced a resolution for the formal censure of Squad member Rashida Tlaib, a Democrat from Michigan. Tlaib is extremely radical and has been defending Hamas and criticizing Israel’s military operations following the genocidal attack against Israel by Hamas. Tlaib’s also been calling for a cease-fire.
Representative Greene said she was hopeful that Speaker Mike Johnson would put through a quick vote on this resolution. The resolution will likely be voted on next week.
Earlier today, Rep. Greene said, “Rashida Talib is the most anti-Semitic, anti-American, anti-Israel member of Congress, and no member of Congress for the United States of America should hate Israel and hate America,” she said.
THE RESOLUTION IN PART
Representative Greene called for the censure of Representative Rashida Tlaib “for anti-Semitic activity, sympathizing with terrorist organizations, and leading an insurrection at the United States Capitol complex. Whereas in May 2019, Rashida Tlaib said that she celebrated the Holocaust and felt a calming feeling when thinking about the genocide of millions of Jews, whereas in 2020, Rashida Tlaib retweeted an illustration with the caption “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

“This Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) slogan has been adopted by Hamas and calls for the elimination of Israel and death to all Jews,

“Whereas, the insurrection led by Rashida Tlaib was organized by Jewish Voice for Peace which the Anti-Defamation League calls a radical anti-Israel activist group that advocates for a complete economic, cultural, and academic boycott of the state of Israel and that believes Israeli policies and actions are motivated by deeply-rooted Jewish racial chauvinism and religious supremacism; whereas members of the Southern Poverty Law Center, a far-left nonprofit organization, were present at the insurrection at the Capitol on October 18th 2023; whereas several insurrectionists at the Capitol belonged to a group messaging chat called Global Intifada, which is the Arabic word for rebellion, for uprising, and refers to a series of protests and violent riots carried out by Palestinians…

SHE IS STILL LYING ABOUT THE GAZA HOSPITAL
Rashida has 1.4 million followers on Twitter alone, and she refuses to take down the false tweet that the Israelis bombed a hospital in Gaza. She has to know that it’s not true, but she wants her followers to believe it is. She has called Israel an apartheid state, which it is not, and has refused to denounce Hamas.

HER CALM FEELING OVER THE HOLOCAUST
In May 2019, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., said that thinking about the Holocaust gives her a “calming feeling” because her Palestinian ancestors provided a “safe haven” for Jewish victims of the tragedy.
She made the statement on a podcast called “Skullduggery,” in an episode titled “From Rashida with Love,” The Washington Examiner reported.
“There’s always kind of a calming feeling I tell folks when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors – Palestinians – who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people’s passports,” Tlaib said just after the 28-minute mark.
“And just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy, and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways. But they did it in a way that took their human dignity away, and it was forced on them.”
She was being sarcastic, and there is no record of Palestinians giving safe haven to Jews.
FORMER REP. LEE ZELDIN
Former Representative and gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin called the Democrat Socialists of America (DSA) a “dark mark on our nation” in an email sent to supporters today.
He said, “The group and key leading members refused to condemn, and some even praised the horrific Hamas October 7th anti-Jewish terrorist attacks.
“The DSA chose the side of pure evil, murderers, and war criminals. If this is not the downfall of the DSA, then I truly fear the integrity of American politics.”
He would like to see the DSA out of Congress.
