Ret. Lt. Col. Shaffer told Hannity on his show last night that former NSA operatives fed up with the Clintons hacked into the DNC and the Podesta emails, giving them over to Wikileaks.
Julian Assange suggested it came from within during an interview with Hannity back in December.
“Sean, we did it,” Shaffer said. “Not me, but our guys, former members of NSA, retired intelligence officers used these tools to break in there and get the information out. That’s what the Democrats don’t want to talk about because it doesn’t fit their narrative.”
This is what Shaffer heard from sources but he doesn’t have proof. Reporters will not follow through on that possibility, he said, perhaps because it doesn’t fit the narrative.
Judge Napolitano also believes intelligence officers were involved in the DNC/Podesta leaks.
Towards the end of a December interview with Sean Hannity, Assange appeared to have slipped.
At about 25:04 on the video below, Sean asked Assange if he’d publish information [that is of political and historical importance] about Donald Trump.

Assange responded, “Absolutely…and if Donald Trump makes a lot of enemies on the inside in his time in office, then he could well face the same thing, in four years time.”
Hannity said “That is the best indication that this did not come from the Russians. I don’t think you meant to say that.”
It was a political enemy on the inside who leaked the information, he seemed to suggest.
