Abby Johnson, a Planned Parenthood exec turned pro-lifer, went to the border to help the children. The Democratic congresspeople who were visiting were shocked when she asked them to help her unload the necessities she collected for the people in detention.
Abby, who is the main character in the pro-life movie, Unplanned, was in Texas at the humanitarian respite center run by Catholic Charities on Saturday.
She has eight children, runs a non-profit ministry, and is a public speaker who travels the world, but she found time for this.
She and other pro-life women collected items on The Bottles2TheBorder campaign. A man from a local church in Houston heard about their efforts and donated an 18-wheeler to haul the items to McAllen. Over $120,000 worth of items were donated, which was used to purchase water, pull-ups, powdered milk, and a host of other supplies to bring with us, Abby told Fox News.

National media were covering their field trip, which reached its lowest point when aides to the Congressmen and women gave them cheap toys, which they, in turn, gave to the little kids at the respite center in front of all the cameras for the ideal photo op.

It took them over three hours in 102-degree heat to unload 119,608 diapers, 13,230 bottles of water, 6,660 pull-ups, 30,000 pairs of shoelaces, 16,172 ounces of formula, 420 canisters of Nido powdered milk, 8,100 maxi pads, 3,100 drawstring backpacks, and thousands of deodorant, baby wipes, bottles, nursing supplies, Lysol, Germ-X, hair ties, baby blankets, Dramamine, Tylenol, Advil, DayQuil, and chapstick, Fox News reported.
