    Nikolas Ferreira, The Heroic Young Man of Brazil

    Nikolas Ferreira, 27, is the Youth Leader who has kept information flowing about the shutting down of free speech and the free press in the Lula government of Brazil. He has fearlessly reported the Elon Musk fight to keep his X platform live in Brazil. Musk is now under investigation, and his staff have been told they will be arrested.

    Mr. Ferreira, “the most voted federal congressman in Brazil,” is now under investigation as ordered by the “Darth Vader” Justice de Moraes.

    Mr. Ferreira equated Brazil’s fight for free speech with the US: “America is like a body; it’s a tripod of patriotism, morality, and spirituality. If someone undermines these three areas, America will collapse from within. Stalin said this.”

    “They have known the secret for a long time and used all possible means to achieve their goal, the destruction of the family, but you may wonder, wouldn’t that be too radical of an idea? Does anyone really want to do this, and after all, how would they do that?”

    He explains that they first “destroyed the sense of reality, and there is no longer right and wrong, good or bad, everything is relative. As an example, he says man exists but “women aren’t concrete concepts, therefore they must be abolished.”

    Stage two is explaining how you are nothing, and they will destroy your identity.  “Young people can be carried away by any wind of doctrine and cling to what is fashionable.”

    He says they tell you how to dress, what type of language you can use, and finally live like this. It is the generation most lacking in good references that has ever existed after all the left replaced Jesus with a Black Lives Matter activist…

    He talks about the “selfishness of activism.” There’s more, and it’s an interesting seven minutes.

    This is the translation of Shellenberger’s comments about the report:

    The Brazilian government wants to censor conspiracy theories and yet here it is, spreading conspiracy theories: ” The Brazilian government suspects that Elon Musk’s attacks on Minister Alexandre de Moraes and now also directly on President Lula are being carried out in cooperation with deputies Bolsonaristas…” reports CNN.

    CNN published this segment while admitting that “We don’t have any evidence on this yet, it’s being investigated.”

    Good luck finding evidence because there isn’t any!

    I was invited many months ago to speak at the Forum for Freedom in Rio Grande do Sul. Before arriving, my fellow Brazilian journalists, David Agape and Eli Viera, asked me to see if there were any Twitter archives in Brazil.

    I looked and discovered that there was. What we discovered shocked us: Alexandre de Moraes and other government officials threatened to criminally prosecute Twitter’s lawyer in Brazil if he didn’t hand over *private* and *personal* information, including people’s phone numbers and their personal direct messages!

    I published the Twitter Archives shortly after landing in Porto Alegre.

    *No one* besides David, Eli and another colleague of mine knew that I was going to publish Twitter Files Brasil.

    After it became clear that many Brazilians were interested in talking to me about the Twitter Archives, I postponed my return to the US by a week. After I decided to do this, Federal Deputy Marcel Van Hattem canceled his long-planned trip to Brussels.

    I met Van Hattem in London last year, at a conference, and he was at the Forum for Freedom, in Porto Alegre. I gratefully accepted Van Hattem’s offer to be introduced to several people he knew in Brazil.

    And that. That’s the whole “coordination”. If CNN had done its job, it could have learned all of this from me before publishing its “misinformation.” In fact, CNN interviewed me two nights ago and I told the two reporters how Twitter Files – Brazil came about. Apparently CNN reporters don’t talk to each other.

    Apparently, CNN didn’t do its homework on Elon Musk either. With Elon, what you see is what you get. He responded publicly to Twitter Files Brasil. We don’t talk about them or correspond about them. He heard about them at the same time the world heard about them.

    Is it really so difficult to believe that the politicians who were censored responded in X to more evidence of Moraes’ demands for censorship? What an idiot.

    I’m trying to be nice about this, but with the segment below, CNN is not behaving like a fair and balanced news media outlet. They are behaving like an irresponsible conspiracy theorist, carrying water for the Lula government.

    At least you won’t see me demanding that the government censor CNN.

  • Grift Alert! Gun Grabber David Hogg

    Remember David Hogg, the so-called survivor of the Parkland School Murders? He was accepted into Harvard with an average record after he became a Parkland hero. All he had to do was rush back to school on his bike when he heard of the mass killings and claim he was a Parkland survivor. He stood on the bodies of his dead classmates for fame. The media loved him. He became the gun-grabbing savior.

    After the 2022 midterms, Hogg created Leaders We Deserve PAC. Its purported goal is to elect Generation Z politicians to nationwide offices. He created the PAC with Kevin Lata, the campaign manager for Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL). She is a Generation Z Democrat elected in 2022.

    Now, David Hogg’s PAC has been accused of spending comparably little on actual candidates as opposed to travel and expenses. His counsel is a familiar name in such controversies: Marc Elias. Elias is Hillary Clinton’s election integrity hatchet man.

    Law Professor Jonathan Turley writes:

    Elias has long been a controversial figure, including being sanctioned in court. He was named as the key figure in hiding the funding of the Steele dossier by the Clinton campaign, which led later to a FEC fine. Reporters accused the campaign of lying to them about the funding. Elias was also reportedly with campaign chair John Podesta when he allegedly denied such funding to congressional investigators.

    Despite accusing the GOP of election denial and manipulation, Elias was also involved in alleged gerrymandering efforts and challenging the outcome of elections based on alleged problems with voting machine tallies.

    Gun control activist David Hogg has been hit with allegations over the spending practices of his group Leaders We Deserve PAC. Hogg created a group in the aftermath of the 2022 midterm elections to elect Generation Z politicians to offices throughout the country.

    David Hogg garnered a lot of press when he formed the Leaders We Deserve PAC, promising GenZ candidates the resources to win:

    “[We’re] trying to pick them and say, you know, we would like to help you run for office, we’ll supply you with all of the resources that you need and help basically coach you and hold your hand to get there, which is kind of the gap that’s in the space right now, for at least young people at the state legislative level.”

    That is not what he did. Instead, he enriched himself and Marc Elias.

    Jonathan Turley writes:

    “Federal filings reportedly show that year-end 2023, Leaders We Deserve raised over $3 million. That is impressive for its first year in operation.

    “The conservative sites allege that the group spent “only about $263,000 on its stated mission of electing candidates from Generation Z to office combined with donations to other Democrat Party committees and groups—and instead spent more than $1.4 million on disbursements to themselves for payroll and to political consulting firms and legal fees, in addition to travel and entertainment expenses like hotels, flights, and meals.”

    “…it reportedly spent more than $1,314,000 on travel and related expenses while giving $80,000 to the Elias Law Group.”

    The money has not gone to electing candidates but to luxurious expenses, such as travel bills, political consultants, and legal fees. In 2023, the group only spent on a handful of candidates—four—one of whom was already serving in the U.S. Congress, Frost.

    Some of the donors are:
    • Filmmaker Alexander Adell – $10,000 donation;
    • Tusk Holdings CEO Bradley Tusk – $10,000;
    • Florida investor Gary Sugarman – $10,000; Omaha,
    • Barbara Weitz – $100,000;
    • Chicago-based Democrat Judy Wise—who served in former President Barack Obama’s administration as an adviser on gun control- $25,000;
    • Pilot House Associates Chairman Amos Hostetter- $25,000;
    • San Francisco-based venture capitalist Ronald Conway – $100,000;
    • Former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick- $1,000:
    • Democrat Lindsey Boylan-$1,000.

    The media and Democrats pick strange heroes. Remember what he said in 2018? The Harvard student-turned-fundraiser said politicians should have addressed school shootings “centuries ago,” which means George Washington, King Henry VIII, and maybe even Caesar were negligent.

    Jamie Dimon Says Risks Confronting Americans May Be the Worst Since WWII

    JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon issued a stark warning about the U.S. economy. No sooner has Janet Yellen said our economy is good and strong when Jamie Dimon says the risks confronting Americans may be the worst since World War II. Don’t expect a soft landing.

    Mr. Dimon made the remarks in his annual letter to shareholders.

    “We may be entering one of the most treacherous geopolitical eras since World War II,” Mr. Dimon wrote, warning that the impacts of major economic and geopolitical forces—from high levels of debt and fiscal stimulus to the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East—could deliver nasty surprises to markets, reports The Epoch Times.

    He said he’s worried about the Biden administration’s ongoing deficit spending, the unknown effects of quantitative tightening, the prospect that inflation will stay higher for longer, and the forces of deglobalization.

    “The impacts of these geopolitical and economic forces are large and somewhat unprecedented,” Mr. Dimon warned. “They may not be fully understood until they have completely played out over multiple years.”

    Even though many economic indicators appear good and may even be improving, including inflation numbers, Mr. Dimon said this could turn out to be little more than a mirage.

    “There seems to be a large number of persistent inflationary pressures, which may likely continue,” Mr. Dimon wrote.

    I think Jamie Dimon is long overdue for an FBI raid.

    A 2023 survey conducted by Payroll.org highlighted that 78% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, a 6% increase from the previous year. In other words, more than three-quarters of Americans struggle to save or invest after paying for their monthly expenses.

    Similarly, a 2023 Forbes Advisor survey revealed that nearly 70% of respondents either identified as living paycheck to paycheck (40%) or—even more concerning—reported that their income doesn’t even cover their standard expenses (29%).

    Nearly half (49%) of Baby Boomer respondents—nearing retirement or already retired—say they’re living paycheck to paycheck. That’s a higher percentage than any other generation.

    Worst Mayor of Chicago Hired to Investigate the Worst Mayor of Dolton

    Former failed Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot was hired at $400 per hour to investigate the so-called worst mayor in America, Tiffany Henyard, mayor of Dolton.

    One of the trustees is accused of sexual assault, and the village is seven million dollars in debt.

    The board has tasked Lightfoot with investigating a May 2023 trip to Las Vegas by Henyard and other village employees, Henyard’s allocation of federal relief funds through the American Rescue Plan Act, the hiring of contractors and making payments to vendors without approval, and paying village prosecutor Michael Del Galdo over $900,000 over the past two years, reported Chicago Sun-Times.

    Lightfoot’s work was set to begin Tuesday at $400 an hour. As part of the hiring agreement, she must provide the board with a summary of the investigation once she reaches $30,000 in payments.

    In her statement to the board and community, she actually said, As someone who has made good governance the cornerstone of my career in public service, I recognize that maintaining the trust of those you serve and making decisions in their best interests is essential.

    Talk about having no self-awareness.

    The Man Who Led Solyndra to Bankruptcy Gets $6.6B from Biden

    Remember Brian Harrison, who ran the Solyndra scam and walked away rich? Well, he’s back, and Biden is giving him $6.6 billion in grant money to make computer chips, about which he knows little.

    Solyndra was an Obama scandal.

    Taiwanese chipmaker TSMC’s Arizona subsidiary, whose president is former Solyndra head Brian Harrison, will receive $6.6 billion to build a factory in Phoenix, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced Monday, Free Beacon reports.

    According to the Beacon, Harrison was CEO of Solyndra when it declared bankruptcy in 2011 after receiving over $500 million in loans from the Obama administration.

    Billions of dollars in Biden energy spending have gone to bankrupt companies ornearly bankrupt companies and their losing CEOs.

    “Thanks to this investment, TSMC will also build a third chip factory in Phoenix, increasing its total investment in Arizona to $65 million and creating over 25,000 direct construction and manufacturing jobs, along with thousands of indirect jobs,” Biden said.

    Biden wants to pick winners and losers, and he’s terrible at it.

    The Solyndra Scandal

    An investigation found that some customers had asked for and were given orders at discounted prices and for much lower volumes than the contracts stated. Still, other customers had no future business commitment to Solyndra. The $1.4 billion, and later $2 billion, weren’t booked revenues; they were aspirational contracts that weren’t binding.

    The report says, “The company internally forecasted that contract customers collectively wanted to purchase more than $700 million less volume than that exhibited in the sales contracts.”

    One Solyndra customer who ended up buying lower volumes of discounted solar panels told investigators that Solyndra assured them through a side verbal agreement that his company wouldn’t have to buy the high volume stated in the contract.

    When the DOE asked Solyndra officials about any updates on sales contracts, Solyndra officials said there weren’t any, says the report. Solyndra officials told the same information to the credit rating firm Fitch, which led to a credit rating based on the inaccurate information.

    No One Was Punished or Had to Make Restitution

    Solyndra officials were, at best, reckless and irresponsible or, at worst, an orchestrated effort to knowingly and intentionally deceive and mislead the Department.

    The DOE decided not to pursue criminal charges.

    Harrison resigned in 2011, just before the fall, and reportedly took a lot of money with him. The Solyndra executives were big Democrat bundlers, especially to Barack Obama. During a hearing, they either didn’t show up or, in Harrison’s case, he took the Fifth.

    In an article in The Free Press, URI Berliner explains how NPR lost the people’s trust. He discusses his liberal bona fides and admits NPR always had a left-leaning bias. However, he sees the dramatic difference after working there for 25 years.

    Berliner said the changes began with Donald Trump, and it’s obvious he doesn’t much like him. However, that is where he pinpoints the media’s decision to become activists, thereby ruining their credibility.

    He described how they let themselves get caught up in the fake stories of Russiagate, the Hunter laptop, COVID, and the systemic racism mantra. The latter began with George Floyd’s death and a new boss who had been at the state-controlled Voice of America.

    NPR jumped on the stories because they believed people like Adam Schiff and never corrected the record!

    Berliner said this about the laptop story:

    “The laptop was newsworthy. But the timeless journalistic instinct of following a hot story lead was being squelched. During a meeting with colleagues, I listened as one of NPR’s best and most fair-minded journalists said it was good we weren’t following the laptop story because it could help Trump.”

    He said this about Russiagate:

    “But when the Mueller report found no credible evidence of collusion, NPR’s coverage was notably sparse. Russiagate quietly faded from our programming.

    “It is one thing to swing and miss on a major story. Unfortunately, it happens. You follow the wrong leads, you get misled by sources you trusted, you’re emotionally invested in a narrative, and bits of circumstantial evidence never add up. It’s bad to blow a big story.”

    Berliner addressed Covid:

    “The lab leak theory came in for rough treatment almost immediately, dismissed as racist or a right-wing conspiracy theory. Anthony Fauci and former NIH head Francis Collins, representing the public health establishment, were its most notable critics. And that was enough for NPR. We became fervent members of Team Natural Origin, even declaring that the lab leak had been debunked by scientists.

    “But that wasn’t the case.”

    During the racism craze, which is still ongoing, they had to ask everyone for their immutable characteristics. They had a growing DEI staff. That’s crept up on everyone, but theirs was bolstered by a $1 million grant.

    Here’s the important part:

    Back in 2011, although NPR’s audience tilted a bit to the left, it still bore a resemblance to America at large. Twenty-six percent of listeners described themselves as conservative, 23 percent as middle of the road, and 37 percent as liberal.

    By 2023, the picture was completely different: only 11 percent described themselves as very or somewhat conservative, 21 percent as middle of the road, and 67 percent of listeners said they were very or somewhat liberal. We weren’t just losing conservatives; we were also losing moderates and traditional liberals.

    An open-minded spirit no longer exists within NPR, and now, predictably, we don’t have an audience that reflects America.

    That wouldn’t be a problem for an openly polemical news outlet serving a niche audience. But for NPR, which purports to consider all things, it’s devastating both for its journalism and its business model.

    As Berliner says, and this is the lede, they suffer from a lack of viewpoint diversity.

    Conflicts erupted, and everyone coalesced around the progressive viewpoint. the anti-semitism seems to have woken him up even more. He often wonders why NPR is telling him what to think.

    We wonder, too!!!

    When he looked at the DC newsroom, he stopped wondering – he found 87 registered Democrats and zero Republicans. Mr. Berliner said the response to his report on all of this was indifference. What could be worse?

    I want to interject here that progressives aren’t Democrats, but Democrats vote for them. They are control freaks, socialists, and communists.

    Berliner also commented on the fake reporting of the “Don’t Say Gay Bill” that never even mentioned the word “gay.” He also wondered why they kept using the word LatinX, which Hispanics hate. My guess is it’s a product of their racism, thinking they have to elevate people who don’t need elevating. They’re fine the way they are.

    No one trashes Mr. Berliner when he tries to straighten out the problems, but no one listens, either.

    He said NPR’s audience has become less diverse. No surprises there. Mr. Berliner mentioned how newsrooms have to lay off people now. The lack of trust and viewpoint diversity is killing them.

    NPR just got a new CEO with a tech background and no newsroom experience. He’s hopeful.

    Personally, I think they better change the staff first. Make it diverse, or tell the DEIs to report with diversity. DEI is a poison, a contagious disease and progressives are the ones carrying it.
