I don’t know if I agree with this sentence. The Michigan school shooter’s parents, Jennifer and James Crumbley were sentenced to at least ten years in prison. I’d like to see their cases go to the Supreme Court.
Granted, I didn’t follow the trial closely enough, but they were saddled with a crazy kid. Are we going to put every parent with a bad killer kid in prison?

As an educator, I can tell you that’s on the educators also.
I put this up mostly so I could hear what others think. I am a hard-on-crime person and believe in the death penalty for some people, but I’m not sure ten years makes sense here. I’m not sure the guilty verdict does. It seems a bit unfair. There is no law for this. Their crime is not recognizing their child’s problems were all that serious.

Alexander Scott Mercurio is facing federal charges of attempting to provide material support or resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization. He was going to incapacitate his father and steal his firearms to use for maximum casualties. He planned the attack for April 7.
According to FBI Director Wray, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force uncovered the plan.

He sat down with PragerU CEO Marissa Streit to discuss how COVID-19 was handled and what happened on the White House planning committee [led by a useless Mike Pence. That’s my opinion, but after listening to the clip, you might come to the same conclusion.]
Deborah Birx put together sophomoric, arbitrary reports, and none of the White House committee members came with scientific papers. They never disagreed with Dr. Atlas on data, but they agreed with each other. Instead of discussing the data, they simply confirmed their uninformed opinions. They didn’t think or act like scientists and didn’t know the data. They were frustrated when he showed the data and wouldn’t consider it. They simply launched ad hominem attacks.
As an example, Dr. Fauci and these other bureaucrats called a meeting, and Dr. Atlas wanted to bring in the people doing the research, the top epidemiologists in the world, so Fauci canceled the meeting.
In another example, Dr. Atlas arranged another meeting with the President, which included top researchers. Dr. Birx was a no-show, and the meeting was almost canceled. Jared Kushner said it would only last five minutes. President Trump asked all the appropriate questions; the five minutes became forty-five minutes. The President insisted on a video, which was buried. Dr. Atlas thinks Birx tried to sabotage the meeting. He said they were doing the CYA, and that’s all they cared about.
One panel member, Dr. Redfield, said they would all quit if one was fired, they had a pact. They didn’t care about the people dying, just their own hides.
Some of the False Statements of Things That Were Known
Coronavirus was described as a completely new virus, but this was a completely false statement. It’s a member of the coronavirus family that some countries have protection from.
Everyone is doomed to die. That is a lie. It spared the young, but older people with comorbidities were in danger. Their figures were based only on the very sick, not everyone infected.
We were told that children and others could be asymptomatic and very dangerous. In 2020, it was known that open schools do not have higher rates of infection. Teachers were not at high risk. They are a low-risk group. Also, it was known that children were not significant spreaders of spreading the illness. Children without comorbidities were at minuscule risk. In Germany, not one died. In the US, very few died and might have had comorbidities. The statistics showed that 99.9% of those under twenty years of age were at no risk.
Two-thirds of people who died at the height of the illness were over the age of life expectancy and had six or more co-morbidities.
Asymptomatic people did not spread most infections. Most spread was indoors.
For thousands of years, people have known that recovery from illness provides immunity and long-lasting protection. Herd immunity is a biological phenomenon. It’s a fact. The data from Israel in 2021 shows that people who never had the vaccine but had the disease had the best protection.
This was all known, not controversial or unknown. It was common knowledge but lied about.
He also discusses hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. Early on, the White House medical bureaucrats refused to run clinical trials on them. They are not dangerous but very safe, and they have mechanisms of action. The censorship was very effective.
Masks don’t work. They do not protect the person wearing them or stop the spread of disease, and that was known in Spring 2020. Airplanes were the safest environment – air is exchanged every 90 seconds. Requiring masks on planes defied all science.

Dr. Atlas says the biggest sin is what we did to children. We broke the social contract by harming our children and injecting experimental drugs with side effects for a disease that children had no significant risk from – to use them as shields.

The latest national NBC News poll finds President Joe Biden trailing former President Donald Trump among young voters ages 18 to 34. Trump gets support from 46% of these young voters, and Biden gets 42%.
Information from the national exit poll is striking, given that Biden won voters ages 18 to 29 by more than 20 points in the 2020 presidential election.
In the June 2023 and September 2023 NBC News polls, Biden was leading Trump among 18-—to 34-year-old voters by similar margins.
The survey measured 250 young voters, with the margin of error among this subgroup at plus or minus 6.2 percentage points.
That means Trump’s advantage among young voters in the poll is well within the margin of error — but the shift against Biden is not. Reliable polls require 1,000 participants, but this does show the trend.

What stable nation would put someone like Joe Biden in office?
The leader of the free world was very happy about ignoring the Supreme Court on his latest college loan forgiveness scheme. The giveaway for votes does not include a mechanism to determine need. It’s just a brazen giveaway.

He also lied about the salaries blue-collar workers make in semiconductor manufacturing. He gave loan forgiveness to people who went to expensive colleges and had better-paying jobs. Blue-collar workers, like people working on semiconductors, are among the taxpayers paying for Biden’s “forgiveness.”

Biden always tells an easily provable old lie at these events. For some reason, he does it frequently, no matter how often the story is debunked.

Biden has made the claim before, including during his 2020 campaign. The Donald Trump campaign flagged it at the time as inaccurate, as it had been during a much more serious incident when he plagiarized language from British Labour Party Leader Neil Kinnock in 1987, which helped end his presidential campaign.

After just 14 minutes of remarks in Wisconsin (in which he pledged another multi-billion-dollar giveaway), Biden lets out a cough and shuffles off the stage.
According to a new Gallup poll, 7% of Americans own EVs, and only 9% who don’t own one are in the market for one. Only 35% say they might consider buying one in the future, down from 43%.
“Overall, less than half of adults, 44%, now say they are either seriously considering or might consider buying an EV in the future, down from 55% in 2023, while the proportion not intending to buy one has increased from 41% to 48%.”
Meanwhile, Biden decided that by 2032, only 29% of the new car market will be gas-powered. There is nothing Democrats won’t control — badly.
Biden’s EPA recently passed a new rule to make gas-powered cars very expensive. The Biden administration said the rule could result in just 29 percent of the new car market remaining gas-powered in 2032. In the administration’s lowest-cost scenario, it estimated by that year, 56 percent of vehicles would be battery electric, 13 percent would be plug-in hybrids, and 3 percent would be other hybrids. The only other car that Americans seem to want, besides a gas car, is the other hybrids that work well, as opposed to EVs and Plugins.

People don’t want EVs, but there won’t be many new gas-powered cars on the market, so we’ll all be driving around in old cars. We’ll look like Cuba with their 1954 Chevys everywhere.
The latest reports, not confirmed, suggest that Hamas has killed most of the hostages. They can’t exchange 40 women, children, and elderly for a US-negotiated deal.
According to the Times of Israel, as part of a negotiated deal that the United States is trying to force through, Hamas would release 40 hostages in the humanitarian category. In exchange, Hamas would get:
Israeli forces would withdraw from Gaza.
All civilians would return to their homes.
Israel would be flexible with Gazans who return home without security checks.
700 Palestinian/Hamas security prisoners would be released, including 100 who are serving life for slaughtering Israelis.
The blockade would be lifted.
IDF forces would remain 500 yards from approved routes to the north.
Humanitarian aid to Gaza would markedly increase.

According to i24, on Monday, The Vatican released its “Infinite Dignity” declaration, pronouncing gender-affirming surgery and surrogacy as grave violations of human dignity. Pope Francis approved it on March 25th but still welcomed trans people into the church, but not the ideology. It’s not clear why this took five years.
It puts him in line with the latest research. According to a new landmark study in The Netherlands and outlined in the Daily Mail, most children with gender confusion outgrow it.
The study tracked over 2,700 individuals from age 11 to their mid-twenties. They were surveyed every three years about their feelings toward gender. Roughly 1 in 10 children expressed some “gender non-contentenedness,” but only 1 in 25 reported feeling “often” or “sometimes” discontented with their gender.
The researchers from the University of Groningen concluded from their study that most individuals who are dissatisfied with their gender identity in childhood and adolescence come to feel comfortable with their gender as they mature.
It is normal to have these feelings and doubts and is “relatively common,” the researchers say.
The study lasted fifteen years.
Maybe the studies and common sense should have come before the gender-affirming care, drugs, and surgeries.
