I updated this because it was late last night, and too much was left out. There is still a lot left out.
Most of the questions were geared left: guns, abortion, climate change, child care, threats to democracy, J6—no questions about the wars or the dockworker’s strike. The moderators glossed over the border.
The two shrieking moderators were completely unfair. They fact-checked Vance. For example, they said climate change is real, and it’s getting worse fast—end of story – and then cut out. Vance never said it wasn’t real. The climate is always changing.
Vance handled the fact checking extremely well.
Democrats want us to spend a hundred trillion dollars on science based on projections so they can remake the economy.
Vance embarrassed moderator Margaret Brennan for fact-checking him, and that got him some major points. He did great with awful moderators. The other moderator was Margaret Brennan. They didn’t come off as nice.
Vance kept his cool throughout, and he knows policies. Walz doesn’t.
Brennan hounded Vance about former negative comments he made about Trump. He basically said he changed his mind.
There were a lot of discussions about freebies, especially for mothers. It seems like the country’s women can’t survive without a federal program.
Gov. Tim Walz lied three times about the fraudulent border bill, which Vance never addressed. The moderators would never have allowed him to rebut. The bill didn’t do a thing to close the border, and it was based on a lie that our immigration system is broken. We have laws they won’t follow.
Abortion
Sen. Vance got into abortion issues. He could have said it is not a federal issue.
Walz evaded the question of whether he supports abortion in the ninth month.
Walz told the Amber Thurman lie. She died from the abortion pills and some incompetence, not from a failure to have an abortion. That went unchecked. In fact, the moderators lied about it.
Walz’s law removed all protections for aborted babies born alive. He took out the word “lifesaving” to refer to the help for these babies. That is infanticide.
Walz lied more than once, but he was not fact-checked. However, Brennan asked about his Hong Kong-China lie.
Walz boasts he is a “union guy” because he’s a teacher—not a steelworker or coal miner. He’s a government worker who doesn’t do backbreaking work and can’t yet be replaced by a robot.
Walz thinks that since the worldwide pandemic happened on Trump’s watch, he caused it and holds him responsible.
Gov. Tim quoted the bible to justify open borders and turning the US into a hellhole.
Walz is friends with school shooters.
When guns came up, Walz didn’t mention the weapons of war lie, but he did say this: he’s become friends with school shooters, and sometimes it’s just the gun.
Tim? What?
He’s friends with school shooters. He also has NASCAR friends. The latter is fine, and the former is nuts.

Censoring
Vance rattled Walz with Walz’s comments about censoring misinformation. Walz used the hackneyed phrase about not yelling “fire” in a theater, which is not in the Constitution and is not illegal. Of course you can yell, ‘fire,’ in a theater. What if there is a fire?

The childcare issue got the same amount of time as the border. That was absurd.
They were nice to each other. Vance is intelligent and articulate, while Walz isn’t either. JD was reasonable and very controlled, while Walz was, for lack of a better word, “weird.”
No Republican should debate with these corrupt moderators again. The moderators shrieked and joined Walz in the debate. I hope Americans are seeing what is going on.
Walz didn’t answer questions, or when he did, he was weird – to use his word.
Vance might have changed the course of the election last night.
