Obama is invisible on GITMO but his empty chair showed up.
Judicial Watch, a conservative, non-partisan educational foundation, has been monitoring terrorist military tribunals at GITMO but they may not be doing it for long. The Obama administration is restricting exclusive access to five leftist human rights groups that openly advocate for terrorists.
The five pre-approved leftist ‘non-governmental organizations’ will be: Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Human Rights First, the American Civil Liberties Union, and the American Bar Association.
NGO’s are actually promoters of leftist causes. They are not into the rule of law. They are guided by the rule by emotions as prescribed by leftists.
The government is pretending the change is due to ‘logistical limitations.’
Judicial Watch appealed and their request was denied. The response from the government was the five leftists were ‘selected due to their ability to reach an international audience, their experience with international human rights in criminal trials and their stated mission to advance human rights through advocacy and respect for the law.’
Judicial Watch fits all the criteria.
Obama wants to shut down GITMO. One way to do it is to make sure these terrorists are freed or shipped to their home countries. JW won’t help their cause.
