Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders beat all the GOP candidates in a new poll. Trump, Rubio, Carson and Cruz have narrowed the field to four probably finalists.

A new Quinnipiac University national poll out today has Trump in the lead with 27% and Rubio with a slight lead over Carson and Cruz as he shot up to second place. Carson and Cruz are tied in third place. Second place is well within the margin of error.

2016 GOP Presidential Poll Results

Trump 27%, Rubio 17%, Carson 16%, Cruz 16%, Bush 5%
Fiorina 3%, Christie 2%, Kasich 2%, Paul 2%, Huckabee 1%

The bad news for the GOP is Hillary now beats them all and so does Sanders. American voters say 60 – 36 percent that Clinton is not honest and trustworthy. They don’t trust her and she is a liar but they will vote for her. She failed in Benghazi, she failed in Egypt, she can’t stick to one principle, she endangered national security, and her Foundation is disreputable, but they will vote for her.

Bernie Sanders, radical socialist, closet communist, who wants to destroy capitalism, is also beating Republicans.

The media has only just gotten started annihilating our candidates and they are winning. The candidates are doing a fine job of destroying each other. It will get much worse.

Such is the state of affairs in America today. This is the country we’ve become. These are our values apparently. The media picks our winners and they pick hard left candidates.

Trump still leads and nothing seems to knock him out though the effort is being made from both sides of the political arena. Carson is still dropping since a recent all-out-assault by the media cast doubt on his past stories and some other candidates used that to their advantage.

Last month Trump had 24% and Carson 23%. Carson’s voters are scattered among the top three.

The theory that the GOP voters do not want an establishment candidate appears to be holding and it is the number one driver of the poll numbers.

Among Republicans, 26 percent of voters say they “would definitely not support” Trump, with 21 percent who would not back Bush.

Hillary is rising.

“Secretary Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders have to be hoping Trump is the GOP’s guy,” said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

American voters are shifting to Clinton as the Democrat gains ground against Republicans:

47 – 41 percent over Trump, compared to 46 – 43 percent November 4;

Clinton at 45 percent to Rubio’s 44 percent, compared to a 46 – 41 percent Rubio lead last month;

Clinton tops Cruz 47 – 42 percent, compared to Cruz at 46 percent to Clinton’s 43 percent last month;

Clinton at 46 percent to Carson’s 43 percent compared to Carson’s 50 – 40 percent lead last month.

Sanders does just as well, or even better, against top Republicans because Americans are turning to socialism and communism:

Topping Trump 49 – 41 percent; Getting 44 percent to Rubio’s 43 percent; Beating Cruz 49 – 39 percent; Leading Carson 47 – 41 percent.

Clinton has a negative 44 – 51 percent favorability rating. Other favorability ratings are:
Negative 35 – 57 percent for Trump; 40 – 33 percent for Carson; 44 – 31 percent for Sanders; 37 – 28 percent for Rubio; 33 – 33 percent for Cruz.

American voters say 60 – 36 percent that Clinton is not honest and trustworthy. Trump is not honest and trustworthy, voters say 59 – 35 percent. Sanders gets the best honesty grades among top candidates, 59 – 28 percent, with Carson at 53 – 34 percent, Rubio at 49 – 33 percent and Cruz at 43 – 39 percent.

On the Democratic side, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton widens her lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont to 60 – 30 percent, compared to 53 – 35 percent in a November 4 survey by the independent Quinnipiac University Poll. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley has 2 percent, with 6 percent undecided.

I didn’t realize O’Malley was still in the race. On the GOP side, Santorum and Graham are as well but they didn’t make it to the big 1%.

Newt Gingrich calls it “sobering”. That it is.
