The 22-year old deranged son of a Hollywood director who worked on the film Hunger Games has killed 7 people and wounded 7 others in a drive by shooting at 9 different crime scenes in Isla Vista California. The victims have not been identified.

One girl who escaped said he called out to her in the street and when she looked away, he fired a shot at her that went over her head. She thought it was a BB and just walked faster.

Several victims were found at a sorority house. Three victims were found at the apartment complex where he was staying.

A typed manifesto was also received by KEYT-TV.

Students said they saw a black BMW slow down near the IV Deli Mart, a popular gathering spot, where people were eating outside. Someone in the car opened fire. Twelve to twenty shots were fired at the young people there.

Distraught witnesses said the car was driving wildly.

Another witness said “He hit two bikes, one he barely grazed. The other was ploughed down. The biker went through the windshield” but is still alive.

That incident appears to have happened after police shot at his car the final time, ending his wild ride. When police approached the car, it was obvious he was deceased from a bullet wound to the head.

The shootings began at 9:27 p.m. on Friday near the Santa Barbara City College.

A family lawyer, Alan Shifman, told reporters gathered outside the home of Mr. Rodger’s father that the murderer’s parents went to the police a month ago concerned about videos he was posting on YouTube that threatened “suicide and killing people”. Shifman said police officers had interviewed the killer, but concluded that he posed no danger. The lawyer said they had found him to be a “perfectly polite, kind and wonderful human.”

“Kind and wonderful human?” The police said this?

Shifman said, “We offer our deepest compassion and sympathy to the families involved in this terrible tragedy. We are experiencing the most inconceivable pain, and our hearts go out to everyone involved.”

The mass murderer’s videos can be seen on this link. If you watch any of the videos you will see that he had a narcissistic personality and blamed the world for his unhappiness. The last video he made threatened the lives of everyone, especially blonde women and young men who successfully dated, as punishment for being “unjust” to him. He wanted a girlfriend and sex, claimed he was a virgin, and everyone had to suffer.

While YouTube took the last video down, which was posted last night, it can be seen here, but it has very disturbing content. He laughs heinously in the video and he discusses getting revenge.

Instead of blaming the shootings on the madman, families of the victims and others are blaming guns, politicians, and the NRA.
