While at a George Mason University with 250 students, Bernie Sanders was asked by a young Muslim girl how he would deal with Islamophobia.
Referring to his family, killed in concentration camps, he didn’t segue into the global jihad of Islamo-Fascists when talking about racism and discrimination, he talked about Americans, advising her and the other students in the audience that we are a racist nation.
“Let me be very personal if I might,” he answered, according to The Hill. “I’m Jewish, my father’s family died in concentration camps.”
Sanders then listed racism and discrimination’s historical roots in American culture, arguing that groups have always tried to play one group off against each other.
“Our job is to build a nation in which we all stand together as one,” he said.
“There is a lot of anger being generated, hatred being generated against Muslims in this country, that is absolutely correct. There is hatred being generated against immigrants in this country. “
“I will do everything that I can to rid this country of the ugly stain of racism that has existed for far too many years,” he said instead.
What is he talking about? There is racism and discrimination and we should work to eliminate it where we see it, but where he goes wrong is claiming it’s part of American culture. He has these young people believing it. Far more Jews than Muslims are discriminated against, statistics show.
He’s an angry old Socialist who has the views of a Communist but now says he wants to be called a Progressive. He’s peculiar on a good day and what is most amazing is the number of people who would vote for him if the ruthless liar weren’t running for president.
The students cheered his nonsensical self-righteous comments. That gave him “great hope” he said.
“There are some out there who think, ‘Well, students and young people are apathetic, they won’t get involved, they are busy partying and so forth,’ ” he said.
“What you are saying here tonight is that you love your country and you are going to fight as hard as you can to make this the country we know it can be.”
That’s twisted. The country he wants it to be is a scary place. We already have that country where anyone can succeed if they work for it.
Soros’ Mother Jones believes he might have changed the country forever because he is reaching the youth. They talk about his blueprint for the next Socialist.
“Sanders’ early years offer a blueprint for how a self-described socialist can, with the right breaks and enough persistence, make it in electoral politics. He didn’t emerge into a national political force overnight. He almost never made it at all. In Vermont he discovered it wasn’t enough to hold lofty ideas and wait for the revolution; he had to learn how to play the political game.”
Is the day coming? What if Sanders was young and handsome and didn’t look crazy?
