Obama Delayed Foley Rescue Until It Was Too Late

“The White House constantly goes back and forth on these things. These people are a bunch of academics who endlessly analyse stuff and ordering up another deep-thinking paper but can’t decide what to order for lunch.”

Barack Obama and his White House spokespeople have been advertising the attempted rescue of James Foley for their own political benefit, however, it seems that it might not be the political bonanza they hoped it would be. According to the U.K. paper, The Sunday Times‘, Barack Obama delayed the  rescue of James Foley for nearly a month until it was too late to save him.

A team from Delta Force and SEAL Team 6 were dropped into the heart of ISIS territory to free Westerners from a prison where they knew they were being held. The problem is Barack Obama waited too long for fear of how it would look if the mission failed.

Anthony Shaffer, a former lieutenant-colonel in U.S. military intelligence who worked on covert operations, said: “I’m told it was almost a 30-day delay from when they said they wanted to go to when he finally gave the green light. They were ready to go in June to grab the guy [Foley] and they weren’t permitted.”

Another US defense source said: “The White House constantly goes back and forth on these things. These people are a bunch of academics who endlessly analyse stuff and ordering up another deep-thinking paper but can’t decide what to order for lunch.”

On the evening of August 13— five days after American airstrikes on Isis targets began — Foley’s parents John and Diane received an email from their son’s captors addressed to “the American government and their sheep-like citizens”.

America, it said, “will pay the price” for the bombings. “The first of which being the blood of the American citizen, James Foley! He will be executed as a direct result of your transgressions towards us!”

Barack Obama knew Foley was going to be executed and he still wouldn’t take action.

Ten minutes after Obama gave his heart-warming speech about James Foley’s murder, he was yucking it up on the golf course.  He is cold-hearted and manipulative.

Obama is more comfortable paying ransoms which he most likely did to free U.S. journalist Peter Theo Curtis who has been held captive by al Qaida in Syria – the al Nusra front – for years.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry confirmed that the Persian Gulf emirate succeeded in gaining Curtis’ release.

Though they will deny it and say they did it for humanitarian reasons, you can be certain money or promises changed hands.

Curtis was handed over to United Nations peacekeepers in Golan Heights, according to a U.N. statement. After receiving medical attention, he was handed over to American government representatives.

It’s great that he is free but ransoms, if indeed one was paid, encourage more kidnappings and they also fund more terrorism.
