This past week, Joe Biden was interviewed on CNN by Gloria Borger and he again distorted the Second Amendment.
“The Second Amendment says you can limit who can own a gun,” he said.
Biden told Borger, “People who are criminals shouldn’t have guns. People who are schizophrenic and have mental illnesses shouldn’t have guns.”
Obviously, but that doesn’t mean lawful gun owners can’t have guns.
Gang members shouldn’t have guns either and that’s where this administration should put their efforts.
If Hillary crashes and burns, the Democrat presidential aspirants waiting in the wings are Michael Bloomberg, John Kerry, Al Gore, Joe Biden and others. The first thing every one of them will do is take our guns.
Joe Biden sent me an email today. He said he and the president are taking steps to reduce gun violence in America. He forgot to mention he was doing it by taking guns away form legal gun owners. The email links to my democrats.org. Obama’s record is nothing to write home about so the administration is creating catastrophe out of whole cloth with guns on the top of the list.
Biden owns a Beretta and two shotguns himself, according to him. He has slews of armed bodyguards. Guns for me, but not for thee.
No one is taking his Beretta or his shotguns, he assured America in 2013, pretending that is not the ultimate goal of the democrats.
Biden likes to give gun advice. All a woman needs for protection, he said, is a shotgun.
During an interview with Field and Stream, an outdoors magazine, the vice-president gave advice to those looking to protect themselves against would-be intruders.
This is the advice he gave his wife Jill:
‘Kate, if you want to protect yourself get a double-barrel shotgun,’ he said.
‘Have the shells of a 12 gauge shot gun. And I promise you, as I told my wife… we live in an area that is wooded and somewhat secluded…
‘I said “Jill, if there’s ever a problem, just walk out on the balcony here – walk out, put that double barrel shot gun and fire two blasts outside the house – I promise you whoever is coming in…”
‘You don’t need an AR-15, it’s harder to aim, it’s harder to use… you don’t need 30 rounds to protect yourself. Buy a shotgun! Buy a shotgun!’
The gun laws Democrats are trying to put in place are only the beginning, Biden said in March 2013. He also said the US is on the verge of mandatory universal background checks though we already have mandatory background checks.
Speaking at a forum at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury in 2013, referring to the right to own rifles he labels assault weapons, Joe Biden Jr said this: “No law-abiding citizen in the United States of America feels their constitutional rights will be infringed in any way” if assault rifles are banned.
Though the Democrats in Colorado want to ban a shotgun used commonly by hunters.
This came via the GOP in 2013:
A widely used hunting shotgun would be banned under a package of gun-control bills sponsored by Democrats sailing through the Colorado General Assembly, according to state Republicans.
State Sen. Greg Brophy said he received a call last week from a constituent who pointed out that the bill to ban high-capacity magazines would apply to the pump shotgun, which holds eight shells but can be readily converted to hold more.
Here’s Uncle Joe telling us to buy a double barrel shotgun:
I guess two shots are less lethal?
This is why women need an AR-15 and not a shotgun:
Other great policies we could expect from a President Joe Biden follow.
He spends like a Socialist.
In March 2011, he likened the Republican strategy of seeking to cut federal spending while not wanting to over-tax the rich to “rape victims being blamed for the rape.”
Not a fan of conservatives, he seems to believe all conservatives are members of a Tea Party. In August 2011, he said that Tea Party members acted like terrorists because they didn’t want to spend a $120 billion a month that we don’t have. In September, 2011, he claimed the Tea Party didn’t want unions. He said, “You [unions] are the only folks keeping the barbarians [conservatives] from the gates.”
In fact, conservatives want unions that don’t own a political party.
In 2011, he said this about the Stimulus, which was a colossal waste of money: “The Stimulus has worked beyond my wildest dreams.”
However, he knows who to call for advice when the country needs it. In November 2011, he said that the “first guy we called for economic advice was Jon Corzine.”
We would definitely have more taxation under a Biden presidency. He refers to taxation as “patriotic.” He has been an outspoken advocate for a global minimum tax. This global minimum tax Biden refers to gives the power to regulate, oversee, and disperse the taxes collected to the U.N. not the U.S.
