This has signs of being gangland violence but, if that is the case, the administration will report it as gun violence.

The Telegraph UK is reporting at least two people have died and 17 others were injured after gunmen opened fire outside a nightclub in Fort Myers, Florida. It took place in the parking lot.

Witnesses said the scene was that of a “mad house”.

One of the victims is reported to be only 12 years of age and is hospitalized in critical condition. It was an event for middle school and high school students.

It was a teen night at Club Blu when, at about 12:30 am Monday, three attackers, now believed under arrest, began shooting.

Captain Jim Mulligan said there are two active crime scenes – the nightclub car park and a nearby house that was sprayed with bullets.

Fort Myers police said in a statement that they were “seeking to determine a motive” for the shooting, which appears to have been carried out by three gunmen now in custody.

Many if not all victims appear to be black.

Terrified youngsters were forced to “dodge cars and bullets” as they sprinted to safety, the mother of one girl who escaped uninjured said.
