Benghazi Bombshell: What We Can Expect on Wednesday

The Benghazi hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 8th, and it promises to be explosive.

Three witnesses will testify. Eric Gregory N. Hicks, the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Libya at the time of the Benghazi terrorist attacks; Mark I. Thompson, a former Marine and now the deputy coordinator for Operations in the agency’s Counterterrorism Bureau; and Eric Nordstrom, a diplomatic security officer who was the regional security officer in Libya, the top security officer in the country in the months leading up to the attacks.

Eric Nordstrom testified about Benghazi in previous hearings but he has more to say.

Mr. Hicks was second in command and was on the phone with Amb. Stevens shortly before his death. The last words he heard Amb. Stevens say were, “We’re under attack! We’re under attack!”

Witnesses have reportedly been blocked from testifying because of alleged threats from the administration.

Lindsey Graham said that what you hear at the hearings will make you angry:

The lawyer for Eric Gregory N. Hicks, Victoria Tsoening, and the lawyer for Mark I. Thompson, Joe Degeneva, appeared on the Fox show, Geraldo-at Large, Saturday evening. They said the video story, among others, will be debunked.

What they had to say in this interview is explosive:

Neither lawyer has been able to secure the top secret clearance they need to interview their own clients. They say they are being stonewalled.
