SHE'S A STRONG CONTENDER FOR INDEPENDENT SENTINEL'S BRONX CHEER AWARD

In Gould, Arkansas, the town council wrote an ordinance which forbids all Gould residents from forming any kind of group or organization without first getting formal approval from the council. In fact, no one can meet and mention the town council without the town council’s permission. You can’t even discuss them in private in your home in any meeting.

It started when the town council banned a citizen’s group and decided to ban any and all groups that mention the city council unless they have gotten permission.

Mayor Ernest Nash has taken a strong stand against it – three cheers for Mayor Nash.
