Leftists who have taken over the Democrat Party are manipulating the public with dishonest propaganda.
The left’s propensity for dishonesty could be no more obvious than in their attack on Eric Trump’s metaphorical tweet. He is obviously talking about the screening process but the left wants their dumbest or most distracted followers to think he compared suffering Syrian refugees to candy.
It’s simply propaganda. They know he was talking about the vetting process which, right now, is non-existent.
Here is the tweet:

Wrigley, the company that makes Skittles candy, is even weighing in. That’s how absurd this is.
“Skittles are candy. Refugees are people. We don’t feel it’s an appropriate analogy. We will respectfully refrain from further commentary as anything we say could be misinterpreted as marketing,” said Wrigley in a statement.
Why are they commenting at all? Trump didn’t say Syrians were skittles. He was talking about the process.
CNN quoted a former Obama speechwriter’s tweet. Mr. Favreau is manipulating the public.

Politico’s articles was titled, Trump Jr. compares Syrian refugees to tainted Skittles. They quoted Hillary’s traveling press secretary who is also trying to twist what Eric Trump said.
This is disgusting. https://t.co/Qygl03Cnc1

CNBC wrote Donald Trump Jr compares Syrian refugees to poisoned Skittles
You get the idea. Joseph Goebbels would be proud. If the left repeats this lie enough, people will only pick up the headline and believe it’s true.
As the master propagandist Goebbels said, “It would not be impossible to prove with sufficient repetition and a psychological understanding of the people concerned that a square is in fact a circle. They are mere words, and words can be molded until they clothe ideas and disguise.”
