~ Hugo Chavez
Joe Kennedy Jr must be hard up for cash. He’s doing ads that support CITGO, Chavez oil company.
Venezuela is the fifth largest member of OPEC, the oil mobsters. Joe Kennedy and Hugo Chavez have an agreement through a nonprofit in which Joe’s nonprofit gets some free oil and Chavez gets phony publicity as a humanitarian. Kennedy likes to say he is doing it to help the poor but the Boston Herald stated that “entities related to his Citizens Energy Corp. paid him [Joe Kennedy] more than $400,000 in 2003, the last year for which records are available.” In other words, Chavez paid him. Joe refers to the “good people of Venezuela” in his ad, but since everything is nationalized, the oil is coming only from Chavez. Most of Venezuela is impoverished thanks to Chavez’ communist policies. In 2008, 33.6% of the people were below the poverty level income. The inflation rate was over 27% last year. In 2008, Chavez changed his currency to the “strong Bolivar” when the inflation soared out of control, not that 27% isn’t out of control.
If Joe Kennedy just wants to get oil to poor people, why doesn’t he get it from someone who is not a communist? This is the same as taking oil from Ahmadinejad or Castro or Mubarek.
In this next video, Joe Kennedy II makes excuses for doing ads for the Chavez-Citgo oil company.
Following are some representative quotes from Hugo Chavez –
Chavez on Israel
In 2006, Mr Chavez warned that his country would most likely sever links with Israel in protest at its military offensive in Lebanon.
He said he had “no interest” in maintaining relations with Israel, which he has accused of committing genocide. “Israel has gone mad. It’s attacking, doing the same thing to the Palestinian and Lebanese people that it has criticised – and with reason – [in the case of] the Holocaust. But this is a new Holocaust.”
Chavez on Bush II
In a dramatic speech to the United Nations in September 2006, Mr Chavez famously described George W Bush as the “Devil”.
“The Devil is right at home. The Devil, the Devil himself, is right in the house. And the Devil came here yesterday. Yesterday the Devil came here. Right here. [crosses himself] And it smells of sulphur still today. Yesterday, ladies and gentlemen, from this rostrum, the president of the United States, the gentleman to whom I refer as the Devil, came here, talking as if he owned the world. Truly. As the owner of the world.”
Chavez on Obama
Yesterday, Hugo Chávez blasted President Barack Obama as a “clown” and an “embarrassment” who has turned the United States into a “disaster” after Obama criticized Venezuela’s ties with Iran and Cuba, according to a report Tuesday.
Chávez’s comments came in the wake of Obama’s Monday written interview with the Caracas paper El Universal, where the U.S. president questioned Venezuela’s connections to those countries. Chávez hit back strongly at Obama on state TV Monday, according to The Guardian, saying the president gave the interview only to “win votes” in the 2012 election.
“Mr. Obama decided to attack us,” Chávez said. “Now you want to win votes by attacking Venezuela. Don’t be irresponsible. You are a clown, a clown. Leave us in peace … Go after your votes by fulfilling that which you promised your people.”
“Focus on governing your country, which you’ve turned into a disaster,” Chávez said, according to The Guardian. Read more: Politico
Chavez is friends with the likes of the Castro brothers, the late Qaddafi, Assad, and Ahmadinejad. Chavez is friends with Bill Ayers. A number of Hollywood actors have become friends with Chavez. For those of you who don’t know, Sean Penn has visited with Hugo Chavez several times. He has discussed making movies with him. Maria Alonso, actress and Venezuelan, gave Sean Penn a piece of her mind recently. I’d like to get her to talk to Joe Kennedy II.
There is a curse word used in this radio clip, but it is Maria Alonso talking about her run-in with Penn in which he referred to her as a pig.
