Marquette

How about this, a Catholic University – Marquette University – banned a professor – John McAdams – because he stuck up for a student who argued that marriage is between a man and a woman.

The student who was opposed to gay marriage was classified by another professor as a homophobe and banned from speaking about the issue in class despite the fact that universities are the place to discuss different ideas.

The suspended professor is tenured and will fight it. He said that even though the university is Catholic, the professors are liberal, PC types who want to shut down any opposition.

Can burning books be far behind?
