Clinton Campaign Wanted a Supporter Taken Off the Air for Criticizing Them

Mika Brzezinski, co-host of Morning Joe, is a Democrat and an ardent supporter of Hillary Clinton, but that didn’t protect her from the Clinton campaign. Because she didn’t want them to arrogantly think the race was over, they tried to get her taken off the air.

These are the people we almost had in office. We dodged a bullet.

According to Brzezinski, the attempt came after she criticized Clinton of being too confident in her ability to secure the presidential election. “I was concerned the campaign was not understanding that perhaps there was an arrogance. They needed to sort of get off their high horse and understand that this isn’t over,” Brzezinski recalled.

“I’ll just say it: NBC got a call from the [Clinton] campaign. Like I had done something that was journalistically inappropriate or something and needed to be pulled off the air.”

“That’s just — shooting the wrong messenger,” she quipped.

This is what the whole ‘fake news’ is about. The left wants an excuse to censor and suppress opponents’ free speech. It’s the new ‘racism’.
