Turning Point USA is attempting to wake up the younger generation to the need for limited government, capitalism, and greatly reduced spending. There is a fiscal crisis and exorbitant debt being accrued that the youth will have to pay.
The organization is not Democrat or Republican but they are training people in activism to stop this fiscal crisis. They are on high school and college campuses and their message is spreading under founder Charlie Kirk.
Former Illinois Rep. and current talk show host Joe Walsh recently spoke at a college conference and told the students the Republican Party is facing a revolution and violence can’t be ruled out.
“I think that we have been a third American revolution,” he told The Blaze this past weekend. “I think people who recoil against both parties and believe in freedom are finally rising up. They’re angry-I mean, look at Trump-and they want to do something about it.”
Walsh has been talking about a revolution since at least 2012.
He thinks it will play out in the Republican Party, not the Democrat because they’re winning.
He said the first step for “revolutionaries” is to “clean out the Republican Party”. If that does not work, then a new political party is needed.
He said people shouldn’t be afraid because we’re going to use the political system to revolt. “Open rebellion” and “violence” frighten people but it won’t be violent – at first.
“Our founders believed that it may take violence to take back our country every now and then,” he concluded.
Joe Walsh is the one who sent a video message asking Loretta Lynch to arrest him for saying there is a “cancer in Islam” following her statement that she would arrest people for hates speech towards Muslims.
Walsh isn’t calling for a revolution against the system as Bernie Sanders is, he’s calling for a revolution against Big Government.
The revolution will come from hard working Americans who are “pissed off” because government’s too big.
This is the beginning of the “third American revolution” he said and the students in the conference said they will be at the “front lines fighting this fight.”
Kirk has said Rand Paul and Ted Cruz will get young people out because they are talking about freedom and breaking with the traditional party line. His organization has a thousand chapters and they are in 38 states.
Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh said it is time to disband the GOP if it insists on governing like Democrats. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin compared the Partу to wife beaters and encouraged voters to quit supporting candidates who continue to break campaign promises.
“Theу did it again. But like a battered wife, we keep going back because everу four уears theу bring us flowers, beg our forgiveness, and swear theу ’ll never hit us again,” she said in an article at Breitbart.
A few months ago, Walsh told Charlie Kirk on his radio show that he has very little faith we will ever get “a free America back.”
Students go to school to be indoctrinated but Kirk said he’s trying to teach them about freedom.
