The Grassley Amendment*** to tighten border security before legalization of illegal immigrants was killed in the Judiciary Committee today. Voting with the Democrats to table the Amendment were Marco Rubio, John McRINO, Lindsay Graham, Jeffrey Flake, and Lisa Murkowski. The Amendment was DOA by a vote of 57-43.
That tells you all you need to know.
If you have any expectations that this bill guarantees that mass illegal immigration will never happen again, don’t.
The RINO’s, a group that now includes Marco Rubio, know that if they don’t give provisional legalization to illegal immigrants before border control then the bill would be voted down by the Democrats. They don’t want anything to taint their bill.
The RINOS are Democrats. They vote with them on the important issues.
This immigration bill is Chuck U Schumer’s bill and that is a bad thing.
The immigrants will be given provisional legal status within six months and then the border will be secured but don’t hold your breath for that border security.
Chain migration is part of this bill and there are extraordinary protections for the people here illegally. ICE is put under the thumb of the Civil Rights division of the DOJ, ensuring that they will never be able to function.
The bill establishes new agencies and greatly expands the size and reach of government.

The Republicans who are bent on Republicide are running ads on Fox that call the immigration bill a Conservative bill in an effort to brainwash us. This is no conservative anything.
***S Amendment 1195 to S 744 (Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act) to prohibit the granting of registered provisional immigrant status until the Secretary has maintained effective control of the borders for 6 months.
