Michelle Obama told People Magazine that Hanoi Jane (Jane Fonda) is a “politically savvy” “sharp” woman. There is no way Michelle Obama said this without knowing exactly what she was saying. There is no excuse for a President’s wife naming a traitor as someone to be held up for praise.
Michelle Obama and Hanoi Jane
Discussion on The Kelly File last evening:
Listen to this video to find out how a real American president shows respect for Vietnam veterans:
Hanoi Jane attempted to shut down Talk Radio when Rush Limbaugh made his indiscriminate comic remarks about Sandra Fluke.
CNN reported that Hanoi Jane (who betrayed her country for the Viet Cong), Gloria Steinem (the supposed women’s activist who only supports liberal women), and Robin Morgan (the radical feminist for liberal women), wanted an FCC investigation of Clear Channel Communications in 2012 for “not acting in the public interest or serving their respective communities of license by permitting such dehumanizing speech.” [this is in reference to the Sandra Fluke-Rush Limbaugh controversy.]
The left continually dehumanizes conservatives but it only matters when it is aimed at them. Limbaugh apologized repeatedly for singling her out.
Filmdom gave Jane Fonda the Lifetime Achievement Award for her work.
Did that include recognizing her work as a traitor during the Vietnam War or her hate America rallies and her other anti-American activities? Probably. It was a slap in the face to Vietnam Vets.
She is a traitor.
Giving her this award ranks up there with Vladimir Putin’s Nobel Peace Prize nomination.
She received her award at a gala event on June 5th 2013 in LA.
She is being touted as an icon, film royalty, blah blah blah, but she’ll always be Hanoi Jane.
She visited Hanoi and praised the captors of our American soldiers at the height of the Vietnam war. She called our military ‘war criminals’ and said Americans should not welcome the POWs home as heroes because ‘they are hypocrites and liars.’
Hanoi Jane recently played the part of Nancy Reagan in a movie that gave a falsified account of Ronald Reagan’s relationship with his butler, making Reagan appear to be a bigot.
Some Vietnam Vets find it troublesome given her history and they called for a boycott of the movie. Hanoi Jane’s response to the vets was, “Get a life.”
I don’t need to write too much to explain why the vets are upset with Hanoi Jane. A couple photos and her own words are enough.
In this photo, Hanoi Jane applauds an NVA anti-aircraft gun crew. These guns were used to shoot down American planes and contributed to the deaths of American Airmen.
Hanoi Jane appears to be shooting Americans in this Viet Cong propaganda photo:
To hear Jane, skip to 1:30. You’ll get to hear her praise the enemy who tortured our POW’s and pretend that American POW’s were treated as guests:
