Zaki Barzinji will be the new associate director of public engagement for the White House and his role will be Muslim Outreach.
We obviously don’t have enough bureaucracy and bureaucrats. Why are we forming a Muslim Outreach organization when we don’t have a government Christian Outreach or a Jewish Outreach or a Catholic Outreach? Not that we need one more government office but why are Muslims treated differently from other religions?
Barzinji worked for the Islamic Society of North American (ISNA), an organization targeted by the U.S. Justice Department as a Muslim Brotherhood affiliate and named an unindicted co-conspirator in a major Hamas-funding trial (The Holy Land Foundation), The Clarion Project noted in a recent article.
Barzinji is the former president of the Muslim Youth of North America. It is reported by some watchdog groups to be another Brotherhood-oriented organization that was named in the Holy Land Foundation trial.
Barzinji previously served as the deputy director of intergovernmental affairs for Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe, who is currently under investigation for “possible political corruption.”
Discover the Networks had the following information on Zaki Barzinji’s grandfather Jamal Barzinji:
Barzinji’s grandfather was best known as a founding father of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood and currently serves as vice president of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), which he co-founded in 1981. A federal court affidavit alleges that Barzinji is “closely associated” with the terrorist groups Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and Hamas. That affidavit cites Barzinji’s ties to Sami al-Arian, a Muslim Brotherhood member who secretly led PIJ’s North American operations.
In 1991 Barzinji founded Dar al-Hijrah, a Falls Church, Virginia mosque whose construction was bankrolled with $5 million from the Saudi Embassy. Directly affiliated with the Muslim American Society, this jihad-promoting mosque, whose property deed bears Barzinji’s signature, is well known for its numerous close ties to Islamic terrorists and extremists, including members of Hamas and al Qaeda. Click here for details of these affiliations.
Dar al-Hijrah is the mosque where Anwar al-Awlaki served as head imam in 2001.
The Justice Department dropped a planned indictment of the elder Barzinji in 2013, but it is not known why. He was the former national president of the Muslim Students Association which is reported to have terror ties and you can read about that here.
From The Clarion Project: “…is it really wise to have the grandson of a Muslim Brotherhood terror suspect, who served as the head of the youth wing of an identified Muslim Brotherhood identity with Hamas links, as the White House’s liaison to the Muslim-American community?”
“This appointment is a further extension of this Administration’s commitment to America’s tradition of religious pluralism,” Valerie Jarrett, senior adviser to the White House office of public engagement, told the Huffington Post.
Barzinji’s hiring comes as Obama has offered repeated rebukes of GOP nominee Donald Trump. “We need to reject any politics that targets people because of race or religion,” Obama said during the State of the Union address in January. “This isn’t a matter of political correctness. It’s a matter of understanding what makes us strong.”
Again, when is she opening the Presbyterian Outreach office?
Since Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton don’t believe in radical Islam, appointing a terror-linked individual isn’t a problem.
