After failing to give immediate amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, the White House has taken up a new cause. They want legal immigrants to be given expedited citizenship, according to the New York Times. The administration wants this to take place in time for the 2016 election.
The Obama administration has launched a nationwide campaign to find the nearly nine million legal residents and encourage them to apply for citizenship.
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services is offering practice tests for the civics exam on cellphones and prep workshops are being offered in rural areas.
They are holding 200 naturalization ceremonies this week alone.
They mentioned new local “welcoming” initiatives, including TV ads, and an easing of Justice Department regulations.
Census data shows that 80% of the legal residents are people who will vote Democratic, with 60% Hispanic and 20% Asian. A third are Mexican.
Barack Obama has even managed to politicize the naturalization process.
While the Times is reporting nine million legal residents, it could be a considerably higher number.
According to Rick Oltman, formerly of the Federation for American Immigration Reform, there are 13.8 million legal permanent residents (LPRs) in the country and in the 20 states with the most, there are 14 Senate races in 2016, eight of which are Democrat and six of which are Republican.
Earlier this year, the White House Task Force on New Americans held a briefing at the Soros-funded, pro-open borders Migration Policy Institute to push its new “Strategic Action Plan on Immigrant & Refugee Integration.” The Task Force seeks to ramp up naturalization among non-citizens.
Obama’s ultimate goal is to make us into a one party nation. If we do end up as he hopes, we won’t have many choices. We will all be Socialists.
In February, 2014, Rand Paul told Steve Malzberg on Newsmax TV that when you speak with President Obama, you don’t get the impression he is trying to turn the United States into a “socialist nightmare” by doing “blithely whatever he thinks he can get away with.”
“It’s hard to imagine exactly what his goal is because when you talk to him one on one he sounds reasonable and like he’s not trying to transform America into some socialist nightmare,” Paul said.
“However, when you look at his policies, one after another, they are sort of transformative — changing us from a country that has a marketplace and freedom of choice to a country that is stifled by coercion and mandates.”
Rand Paul comes in at about 04:00:
Barack Obama has attempted to make us into a one party country in a number of ways. Illegal immigration is the fastest way to do it.
Nationalizing all pillars of society is another way. Common Core Standards are engraining certain Socialist ideals into curricula.
Disallowing voter IDs is another approach. It allows for rampant voter fraud.
Buying votes and favors works too.
His preferred approach has been to divide and conquer. He uses the poor, minorities, LGBTs, felons, immigrants to drive the progressive agenda.
We have seen what it will be like when we are a one-party country. Barack Obama passed Obamacare and the Iran nuclear deal without a single Republican vote, and generally acts as if there is one party and no constitution. The EPA steals private land and the IRS targets citizens to name two abuses.
Some states are already one-party states and they are high tax, big spending states where the people have little say. It’s not what made this country great.
