Obamacare is about to devastate the economy
Mr. Obama is now confident that Obamacare is decided – it’s a fait d’accompli. He said he will not approve a one-year delay after numerous delays of other mandates in the bill.
We won’t rid ourselves of this disaster if we don’t even get a delay. It is not going to self-immolate. This is our only opportunity.
On Thursday, Mr. Obama said, ‘So, we’re now only five days away from finishing the job. Five days.’
Mr. Obama won’t even delay this bill he has rewritten several times – unconstitutionally.
Allegedly, phones have been wringing off the hooks in congressional offices.
Please call or tweet, call or Facebook your congressmen and the politicians below. Tell the Republicans to fight!
Some people have sounded off inappropriately. Rep. King used that as an excuse to demean Ted Cruz supporters and Ted Cruz. They need to know the voters are behind them and they need calls from reasonable people or they won’t hear the message.
US Senator Joe Manchin said he would support a delay to Obamacare. He’s a Democrat! His decision puts pressure on other red state Democrats.
Harry Reid is demanding that the House send a bill without any modifications to Obamacare and he is placing the blame for a possible government shutdown on the GOP.
The House has taken a stand and is demanding the following:
…a one-year delay of the president’s health care law, fast-track authority to overhaul the tax code, construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline, offshore oil and gas production, more permitting of energy exploration on federal lands, a rollback of regulations on coal ash, blocking new Environmental Protection Agency regulations on greenhouse gas production, eliminating a $23 billion fund to ensure the orderly dissolution of failed major banks, eliminating mandatory contributions to the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, limits on medical malpractice lawsuits and an increase in means testing for Medicare, among other provisions…NY Times
Get behind the GOP, especially House Republicans, and tell them you want an Obamacare delay as the debt ceiling talks get underway and a CR is being negotiated.
“The president says ‘I’m not going to negotiate,’ ” Speaker John Boehner said. “Well, I’m sorry, but it doesn’t work that way.”
