“We are defined not by our borders, but by our bonds.” ~ Barack Obama

If we are defined not by our borders but by our bonds, we still need to close the border. How long before this tragedy takes our country over? They are already here thanks to our open borders and sanctuary city/state policies. The Democrats support the open borders crowd. They obviously care more about votes than our safety.

Since the crackdown on organized drug crime in Mexico in December, 2006 until the end of 2010, a reported 34,000 have died. Many more murders and violent crimes go unreported and self-censorship is widespread among news outlets in the most violent states.

Bodies have been piling up in shootouts and mass graves. In Juarez, at least 976 people have been violently killed since 2011. One U.S.-based law enforcement group estimates about 40,000 dead since last month. [LA Times]

The news today –

Yahoo News: Forty-nine decapitated andmutilated bodies were found Sunday dumped on a highway connecting the northern Mexican metropolis of Monterrey to the U.S. border in what appeared to be the latest blow in an escalating war of intimidation among drug gangs.

Mexico’s organized crime groups often leave multiple bodies in public places as warnings to their rivals, and authorities said at least a few of the latest victims had tattoos of the Santa Muerte cult popular among drug traffickers.

The bodies of 43 men and six women were found in the town of San Juan on the non-toll highway to the border city of Reynosa about 4 a.m., forcing police and troops to close the highway.

Nuevo Leon state security spokesman Jorge Domene said at a news conference that a banner left at the site bore a message with the Zetas drug cartel claiming responsibility for the massacre.

Domene said the fact the bodies were found with the heads, hands and feet cut off will make identification difficult. The bodies were being taken to Monterrey for DNA tests…

The entire country has been taken over by drug cartels and this is one reason why we need to close our borders –
